The journal was published under the title Bulletin of the Karaganda University. “Economy” Series.
It was originally established in 2008 and initially issued in print format under its original title.

This ISSN was assigned to the print version of the journal and remained in use until Issue 3 of 2016.
- Period: 2016 (Issue 4) – 2018 (Issue 4)
Starting from Issue 4 of 2016, the journal continued publication under the same title with a newly assigned print ISSN.
